Refund Policy | AYSO Region 138

We understand that life can change unexpectedly, and sometimes refunds are necessary. Below is our refund policy to help you understand the process and what to expect.

The AYSO National Player Membership Fee and any Sports Connect or other processing or service fees are non-refundable.

Player equipment and Region 138 division fees are refundable until registration closes.

After registration closes, no refunds will be issued.

Limited exceptions may be considered by the Regional Commissioner only for verified serious medical withdrawal, verified out-of-area relocation before participation begins, or if the Region is unable to place the player in a program.

Refund requests must be submitted by email to [email protected] and must include the player's full name and reason for the request.

If approved, refunds will be issued back to the original payment method when possible.

Important Information About Refunds

AYSO National Player Membership Fee — $25.00 (Non-Refundable)

This fee is paid directly to the AYSO National organization and does not pass through Region 138's account. However, this membership is transferable to another AYSO Region or program, such as United or EXTRA.

Uniform Fee — Varies (Refundable until registration closes)

These funds, used to purchase socks, shin guards, and jerseys, are not retained by the region — they are forwarded directly to our uniform manufacturer. Because of this, we are unable to refund the uniform portion of your registration.

Division Fee — Varies (Refundable until registration closes)

The only refundable portion of the registration fee is the division fee charged by Region 138, which is used to support and operate the local program, including program-related expenses.

Limited Exceptions: Limited exceptions may be considered by the Regional Commissioner only for verified serious medical withdrawal, verified out-of-area relocation before participation begins, or if the Region is unable to place the player in a program.
